VicTrack is a government-run transport asset and landowner employing over 500 people. With the mandate of WFH due to COVID-19, the challenge for the Communications & Engagement team was, ‘how do we sustain an informed and engaged workforce while working remotely, with no extra budget or resources?’
The answer? MTV but make it VTV.
VicTrack TV (VTV) launched in May 2020 to inform and engage VicTrack employees about organisational news, projects and initiatives over 9 channels. The video platform was built on the VicTrack’s intranet, The Loop, for easy user access of referenced internal resources. Relevant content was also repurposed for other communication platforms, such as LinkedIn.
VTV has enabled its people to gain unprecedented access to their leaders – giving them the opportunity to learn more about the strategic direction of VicTrack, stay updated, and connect with other team members in the comfort of their own home.
